At the CT near west of leslie and sheppard, they have 40% off a case of 6 bottles of Quaker State full synthetic oil and 20% off FRAM sythetic filters.
5w30, 10w30 are available.
Gonna check my local CT tomorrow to confirm if it's there as well
Just edited to the correct price thx, I wasn't too sure but I knew it was around there.

Sale is nationwide. This works out to $4.40 a litre. It's a really good deal.

FRAM does make crappy filters, but their synthetic filter series (or the old X2) are some pretty nice filter in my opinion. Especially if you got them FREE last time when CT had the Castrol Syntec with a FREE synthetic filter promo a few weeks ago.

Funny thing about the regular price being $41.94/box of 6 which works out to being $6.99 each, I was checking the prices of individual bottles, and they were either $5.49 or $5.99 for the Quaker State full Synthetic. Doesn't quite make sense does it, I don't know, maybe an employee mis-stacked the bottles or something.

So which ones are better? KnN lifetime ones or do you recommend any other brand?

You know Castrol Syntec is not full synthetic right? It's a blend.

The motomaster full synthetic, is that trustworthy? Another friend of mine suggested sticking with Mobil one or Castrol full synthetic.

Slightly OT, but as an oil change novice I need to get a specialised synthetic oil filter too, if I buy this full synthetic?
I have been running the 1/2 sythetic with a regular filter seemingly fine....

A regular oil filter (fram included) works just fine.
