Lexmark C510 Color Laser + Print Server, $327.04 (likely less) at Office Depot

I picked up one of these at the Edmonton Oliver Square store tonight.

This is a small workgroup capable color laser printer.

The tag price that scanned was $327.04, the .04 means it has been on clearance for a long time, .01 -> .02 -> .03 -> .04 and you may be able to get it for an even lower price.

They gave me $60 off the tagged price, and then I used the $20 off coupon from this weeks flyer as well, came to $237.04 plus taxes and the environmental fee. Smoking hot for this price. YMMV on the extra discount and stock availability.

;) I used to work there so sometimes if I see someone I know I can hassle for a better price. Most time it doesn't fly tho.

Items that are on clearance like this ending in .01 to .04 are ones they want to move out. I've gotten tons of deals from OD for things like this, you just have to keep checking them out...

In response to pms: there was one more at the location I was at, a demo model that had the toner installed. Maybe you could dicker them to an even lower price, a sub $200 color laser would be nice for somebody...

Also, the $20 off coupon expired yesterday, I don't know of any new ones.

And no, this was not the c510n, not network ready, just the c510. I wish for this price. Nothing a cheap print server can't fix tho, and I think I have one of those lying around...

i remember those Antec PSU's on clearance for really cheap but when i phoned in to check for stock, they said all of it was gone the last wk - sb ALWAYS comes in to their store and buys up all their clearance items - what's even more frustrating is the OD staff told me he thinks the guy buys it and resells it elsewhere ! - store/ebay/whatever... :mad:

Not really a good deal. You can get a refurb for $205.99 at www.logiccomputerhouse.com and canada computers has them for about the same price.

Finally got around to taking my new printer out of the box last night and lo and behold it includes a lexmark print server in the package. So this is a color laser printer AND the lexmark print server.

Hot deal! Hope someone else can get their hands on one.

Now who carries cheap laser tshirt transfers so I can make some rfd tshirts?
