wholesalers in GTA... where to find?

okay if i want to run a clothing store or some type of store.


where can i find the wholesalers for the products?



i.e. in this case, say urban clothing!

edit: i've googled and found some wholesaler sites... but don't know if they're legit or not?

As far as clothing goes, I'm not 100% sure if it's as bad, but in terms of electronics there are lists up for sale and they are total rip offs so stay away from those.

Check out the Strategis (http://strategis.ic.gc.ca/sc_mrkti/tdst/tdo/tdo.php#tag) website - you can get an idea who the larger importers are by doing searches.

Talk to some urban clothing retailers and see who they buy from.

Talk to the manufacturers and find out who they use as distributors/wholesalers.

You can usually find out the names of manufacturers by looking at the tags on the clothing.

the store is called lounge clothing. Ask for their head office number. I believe the stores head office doubles as sales agency for rocawear, enyce, state property in ontario. Once you get in contact with them, I'm sure theyll help get u in contact with other agencies that handle the other lines. Also Google or canada 411 "offshoot communications" theyre also downtown toronto and do sales for 555soul and various other brands...good luck!

its a conference which happens twice a year in the US. You can get a hold of ALL clothing labels, distributors, you can network with other stores. Its an amazing event if you have a store or are looking into opening one up. Don't be fooled by the site, they deal with all types of labels including urban.
