I am sooo mad. Just drove up to my local staples store and they would not price match anyone unless they were in the same town, She said that is the policy. I told her to read the policy and she says that the one on the website and the one they have posted all over the store is not correct.

I bought this monitor yesterday in store for 379.99. memory express has it for 274.95. NCIX has it for 299.99. Infotec has it for 285.00.

She said right away NO! Then we got into a big argument. I stormed out telling her I would return it tomorrow. I will report them for false advertising as well!!!!

What is the population of Kamloops? Perhaps that is the reason. I wasnt aware memory express did any shipping. How many compeditors to staples operate in your area?

Memory Express does ship and staples did an online price match for me. Never heard of this in store policy. The policy is clear - "If you find a lower advertised price on an in-stock new identical item from an Authorized Canadian dealer"

Its posted all over the store and on the website.

Kamloops is about 100000, we have all the big box stores.
I never heard of this that The store will only honor price matches for retailers in town.

I sent you some information that might be of use. Check your PM box.

Staples will price match any Canadian Retailer - I'd complain further up the ladder if your store isn't.

When the high horse manager at the downtown staples in Edmonton tried to pull the same thing on me I bought the item at full price and then phoned head office.
I got a call back same day saying that my credit card had been refunded the amount and that the manager would be dealt with.
Give them a call.
