So we've got some grape vines out in the backyard and would like to actually have a nice crop that isn't eaten up by those damn buggers (raccoons). So what are inexpensive and consistant ways of warding off these little nuisances? Do the water sprinkler with a sensor work well and where can i find that in Toronto?

I think getting a fence is the best option, if possible.

Replace your wooden fence with steel. They won't be able to dig their claws into that!

don't know about your city, but I can go to public security and they'll lend me a cage to catch raccoons.

i think only if they are stuck on your roof or something, otherwise you have to pay for a guy to do it.
