They actally give food at the Adobe ones?
went to an Adobe seminar a couple years ago...a breakfast one. they were too cheap to even have any coffee at the one i went to.
it was held at a library though.
Maybe the hotel ones ae better.
But Adobe does have very useful seminars at least....and they are Free!

Been to one a year or so ago and if I remember correctly, breakfast was offered and it consisted of muffins, crossants and other baked goods. Coffee and juice was served.
Didn't find breakfast too exciting, but it was decent for the price (free).
They had 2 draws for their Adobe software packages and it not for a single product, but an entire retail boxed suite of a particular product line (example: CS2 designer series etc.)
The seminar was very well done and definite 2 thumbs up.
For those who go, please take 1 or 2 baked goods and leave some for others; I saw some take like a stack of baked goods (5 pieces or more), leaving people who showed up later, but on time with nothing.

I have wanted to go to a couple seminars and was actually interested in what they were teaching- unfortunately they were full...
So, hopefully the ppl signing up are going mostly because they are actually interested in the topics.
btw...Microsoft has the best food and their seminars, sometimes even buffets!
I went to one a couple years ago where there was an open bar...funny to see the people there at the "networking" event afterwards.
The adobe one i went to didn't have any prizes that I remember.
It was about making PDF files and graphics.
We all got working trial versions of some software.
but usually they are supposed to have 1 or 2 door prizes at least, sometimes they mail u freebies!
but if u r not interested in the topic you will be super bored...worse than math class >:(

btw...Microsoft has the best food and their seminars, sometimes even buffets!
all the food i have experienced so far are wraps, wraps and open bar buffet wraps mainly...but as from two years from amd tech tour dinner buffets, there were crap cake like crispy, roast beef, many type of desserts, etc...
novell had servered us roast chicken breast and wild mushroom soups 4 years ago, there were people serving us sitting in a table for 10...
