Rather than googling or just going to the CIA and FBI websites, you decide to ask Canadian Bargain Hunting Users?

AFAIK, in order to become CIA/FBI recruits in today's world, you basically have to know a sh*tload of foreign languages, or be really good with technology.

They have different recruiting methods for field operatives, but for techs and analysts, they openly recruit via websites.

How to spot a CIA person? You can't. If you could, they wouldn't be very good, would they.

...oh and be an american citizen. I'm sure the US wouldn't want a bunch of Canadians running around doing espionage for them.

Go for a job @ CSIS instead. CSIS is just as cool.

CSIS is usually at the university job fairs looking for recuits. Probably a semi-interesting job, but the pay sucks if you look at the material they give you.

They don't really need any experience to have people search for names of people borrowing The Communist Manifesto at the library.

My parents are friends with a guy that used to work in the CIA. He was one of George Tenet's security guys that went everywhere with him, back in the days he was Director of the CIA.

As for what happens in the CIA, the guy never talked about it, which I can understand. This was pre-9/11 days even. I think my parents still keep in contact, but I haven't seen him in like 4 years.

If you truely want a job at CSIS. Some advice, stop telling people that you're thinking about/going to do it..... think about it.
