im going to hong kong for the summer, and im looking to buy an all-in-one gsm pda phone with wifi. are these cheaper in hk? does anyone use these? how is the range for the wifi? comparable to a laptop?

im looking at this:

Dopod 818 pro (equivalent to imate jamin)

You don't type unless you have bluetooth KB :)
Or you can just get used to jotting down notes on it as it does have touch screen for graffiti etc. This unit is a bit pricey tho and Windows Mobile phones have never been known to be good at battery life ...

I can't recommend any since I don't know any that fit MY requirements (and decent cost). I want 3G and I haven't seen one with 3G and I've always read non-smartphones have craptastic battery life. I have the XDA1 and had battery issues from the get-go so I've stayed away for now :)
