We beat out Montreal, Toronto, a joint bid from Calgary and Edmonton and another joint effort from Saskatoon and Regina...

There is no city dedicated to junior hockey like Ottawa. period. we lost bids 3x in a row, and the Vancouver bid last time was really questionable.

Anyways, it's ALL good!

I was in attendance when it was in Halifax/Cape Breton a few years ago. Lots of good hockey and a good look at the prospects coming up. Ovechkin where there that year but the star (for Russia) was Zherdev.
