Ok please tell me how different is that from PAYING to wear a logo shirt like Roots, Gap, Abercrombie and Fish (lol) or....BAPE?
At least they are giving the shirts away!

Probably around 12, although many will go there early on that day just to get the tee so they could run out even faster.

Probably they'll run out very quickly. Not worth my time unless there are other freebies or offers.

2 days!!!
lets see...
24 hours x 2 x $8.00 hr (min wage) = $384.
the loser could have bought a lot of t-shirts for that money. talk about a waste of time and a waste for a life.

its probably white with a apple logo on it. itll probably be large so it wont even fit well on lotsa ppl. plus its only worth like 5 bucks. going downtown on saturday morning costs 3 bucks on ttc and like 3 hours of time for the trip. my time is worth $25 an hour. i rather take that $75 bucks and buy a brand name shirt.

Got to Eaton Centre around 7:00ish (was the 30th person in the line). The wait was alright, as i was i with a friend.
The 'opening ceremony' was quite impressive, and made me feel like the 2hr30min wait was worth it. I even shook hands with Apple Employees. Wow.

umm sorry if i sound rude and all ...... but it's just a free shirt. i don't see why this is such a big deal.
and personally, i find it insulting that people who use windows computers and slag the ones that use macs would be trying to get an apple shirt.
just because you bought an ipod doesn't mean ***** .... it's a totally different thing altogether to own and use a mac computer. and trust me, i sure a rain wouldn't be dragging my azz out of bed or taking my lunch break to wait in line to get a lame microsoft shirt.
and i certainly hope those that use windows computers aren't going to use this opportunity to turn around and try and sell this FREE shirt for financial gain.
that would be a really dumb move.

you seriously need to take a chill pill, its a free t-shirt...if somone wants it and they can wait in line good for them, doesnt mean that you need to be using an apple computer to wear an apple t-shirt...

do you know how dumb both of you sound ?
you went because they were giving out free shirts and you were low on shirts ?
and you went because it doesn't matter what was being given out ... you just wanted it.
the apple store is there for people who use macs or looking to move to a mac. so you basically took something cause it was free and not because you use the product and therefore made someone that would have appreciated it a hell of alot more than you.
omg ... i need a drink

I got one at around 11am, no lineup but the store was packed. It is a black T shirt with an apple logo and "Eaton Centre" print in the front. The back has some tiny text saying it is "designed by Califonia" blah blah .... I find the packaging much cooler though.

Got there around 9:00 after picking up my Bay GC. Not as bad as I thought. Probably 100 people ahead of me. Securities did a great job. Very organized.
Store seems to be same size as the one in Yorkdale but has more staffs.

Seriously, a freebie is a freebie. The intention of the shirt is for product recognition and promotion, regardless of who uses it. Would it be fair to hand the shirt out to only people who would fit the XL size, thus actually wear it in public?
Also, marketing often uses promotional freebies to lure new customers. If you are a hardcore mac user, then they've already got your business.
Needless to say, if you're willing to get your butt in line early enough to get the shirt, you're deserving of it.

Yes, secuirty did a fine job, lots of Security.. atleast 8-10.
LOL at 10:30ish, anyone walking by the store could walk in and get a T shirt still, there was NO line by that time.

Maybe if they pay me per hour, I'll think about it. :)
