As much as I love pickup floor hockey, I LOVE beach volleyball even more (esp. with the awesome weather approachin).

Would anybody be interested in pick up volleyball at AshBridges Bay?

Anyone in leagues right now whic can share some 411 or are in need of players?

PM me if you're interested, I'll be putting together a free pickup/dropin volleyball at the Ashbridges beach this summer.

well, the most popular league that plays there is Not So Pro (formally East Toronto Sports & Social Club). I believe they play most days of the week, and have at least 3-4 different levels of skills etc. a quick search on the web will provide details.

as for pick-up, you can pretty much just show up on the weekend and you'll quickly find ppl playing and it's a piece of cake to find ppl looking for players.

lastly, a real net and ball only run about 150 or so. if you go for the lines, posts etc, it's about 400. not *that* expensive if you get a few ppl together.
