last winter when we went, it was crazy. Had lots of pretty good deals.
On the last day of sale, they dropped price on some of the stuff that weren't selling. (I was able to get a price match on some stuff I purchased earlier during the week)
Still using my 15 martini glass that was sold at ($10).
They did have some nice door crasher, but those sold out fast.

Does anyone know if they ever have this kind of thing in Vancouver?

I think it's only in Toronto (where their warehouse is located)..

Thanks for the info. I always go to the Royal Doulton and Ashley sales, but wasn't able to go last winter to this one. The other 2 were disappointing sales and hoping the Mikasa one is going to be better.

Did anyone go this morning, just wondering if it's worth it to make the trip after work.

Just got back from the sale, it was pretty busy, especially the parking as usual but no line ups to get in.
I went strictly to finish off my Arabella china pattern and they had it on for $29.99 per 5 piece place setting this year, last year it was $49.99 at the Mikasa Sale, regular price at The Bay for $69.99, also serving pieces were on for $19.99, regular price at The Bay $89.99 which is great as it is a current and popular pattern. Glad I waited till this sale to buy the rest!
Sorry I can't report on any other deals there as I wanted to get in and out but people were loading up on stuff.

Went to this sale today. It was extremely busy. As usual lots of beautiful crystalware. These things make great presents just to buy and keep for when that occasion arises and you have to get something, but you don't seem to have the time... While the sale is great, quite a few of the things are older pieces and end of line. Worth a check out if you are in the area. The vases are priced from 10.00 up, plates are like 2.99 and up....Crystal jugs start from like 10.00 a piece. Lots of great everyday glasses as well and worth the price to. Hope my critique helps!

I went today and it's worth the trip in my opinion. I picked up a few nice plates and bowls at a really reasonable price, $2.99 each. I also bought a nice vase for $15 and a couple of bar glass sets to use as a gift, also got a set of 4 wine glasses for $7.99 that came in handy. A lot of the stuff didn't suit my taste but I did find a few gems.

Great deals at Mikasa warehouse. Went there after work and picked up some silverware steak knives, crystal platter, Poker/salsa dip tray, 12 coca cola glass cups, Glass picture portrait(very nice!!), and a 16 piece cup/plate set.
The prices were between 50 - 80% off. What a steal!!! :cheesygri
