I found this laptop (Centrino 1.6GHZ sealed box) is selling for $779 + tax at Notebook Outlet.


Are they brand new tho? I know Notebook Outlet often sells what they call "recondition" laptops. I not commenting on the price since I haven't pay much attention to it after I got mine about 9 months ago.

I purchased this unit at a reputable computer reseller (not a bargain basement store). And to response to your email... the unit is 1.73 Centrino not 1.6 so you are not even talking about the same notebook. The fact that it is not sealed is irrelevant. I used it 3 times - I haven't even registered the notebook yet so whoever would buy it would register it and get full warranty.

No offence, but I would appreciate you do better research in the future before you assume to advertise and discredit my information.

Further research I found my notebook on Notebook Outlet with the following specs... notice that it is reconditioned... they are advertising this at $1199 list and are selling it for $999.88.

This is not a reconditioned unit... the advertised unit that Kingchan was talking about was reconditioned. I purchased my unit from CDW. Brand New.
