I'd say look at the sizing that they give carefully. Items appear to be much bigger than they actually are and depending on the item the colours may be slightly different. Ordered a necklace with a sapphire stone. The site showed the stone to look like a regular sapphire but when it arrived, it was a milky opaque blue colour.

really? different colour. Did you complain?
did it specifically say in the listing it would be pink? or you assumed it would be pink (considering sapphire is usually pink and the picture showed it was pink)?
thanks

Like i ordered this item
http://www.ice.com/productimages/pcc665736_b_l.jpg
It wasnt translucent at all, the whole thing was more like the opaque colour of the upper wings.
Like i mentioned it looks bigger than it actually is, so always look at the dimensions first. This one is 3/4" long from top to bottom, so take out a ruler and try to picture the size of what you're getting.
I ended up returning the item. I used a promotion to get free shipping to get the order, but after I returned the item, they did not refund the full amount. They returned my total - $5.

Do they charge you anything extra across the borders, since they're in the States?
I haven't bought anything from US so I'm not sure how the system works.

I ordered a watch from ice.com, just coz i found a coupon on RFD.
They shipped out very quickly, got the watch in less than a week.
Also, the watch looked even better than on the website.
Looking at the other comments though, i would consider myself plain lucky,
Cheers!

I ordered from ICE.com. The package was dripping a little when it got to me. When I opened it up, it was just a bag full of water! Well, I was ticked so I called their support line. At first I thought their support people were shifty. They blamed it on Canada Post and that fact that my package took 3 weeks to get to me. They said it was frozen when they shipped it. (Don't know how true that was.) But their first idea on fixing the problem worked! They suggested I put my package in my freezer and wait a few hours. That did the trick!
If it wasn't for them, none of my guests would have had a cold drink that night.
In the future I'll use their Express Shipping option.

They seem to have decent prices compared to the mall!
esp for 14k.
-not exactly my taste, but I have "unusual" taste in jewelery (and buy on Ebay).
But I think 85% of women would be happy to have this.

I got my girl the pink saphire version of this with gold and she loves it. If they really like you its the thought that counts and they would tell you what they want next time if it wasn't their cup of tea. They have 30 day return policy so can't go wrong. Bought twice with no complaints.

We're trying to build up a larger review database so if you could review them here, good or bad, that'd be great:
http://www.redflagdeals.com/deals/main.php/ratings/icecom
You need an order number to post a review. They only have one right now so hopefully, more reviews will make it more useful.
Some coupons as well:

Bought a couple of lower priced rings from them for my girl (around the $200 range). Great for not so important occasions like Valentines Day. It arrived promptly, sizing and quality as expected (came in really nice gift boxes), and as someone mentioned it shipped out of Montreal I believe by Fedex so no customs hassles.
Last time I bought was about a yr ago, and no way I'm going to go hunting for my order numbers just for the privilege of supplementing a review database.
The only thing I didnt like about ordering through ICE.com, was it somehow put me on a spam list by them where I'd be getting emails about 1-2x EVERY week. I just dont buy that much jewellery (I hate buying jewellery-always feel like I'm getting ripped off because its so subjective).
Dell did the same spam thing to me, but they at least let up after a few weeks. ICE did it for months-I may have even ended up blocking them.

I bought a ring from them last Christmas - 3 stone 1/2 carat. I really like it and get lots of compliments on it. I haven't found anything in the stores cheaper. The shipping then was free and fast. No duty/handling charges. You do pay in US dollars though.

I bought a few times from them. Personally, I buy little things to make close friends surprised and happy. For gf and serious (or friends with benefit...) I would go through the malls.
The last thing you want is "hmm... my hon just got this for me and the box says ICE.COM. Let me check the price..."
