looking for a case for my 4th generation 20gb ipod. do they still make cases for these? if so where can i buy one for a pittance?

They make cases for *everything.*
If you can't eBay it, go to Chapters. There is a thread in Hot Deals right now, half price. iSkin are still the best covers, and these are made for your 4G model.
And they include a screen protector and a belt clip (don't use the belt clip, though, there is some danger of leaving an imprint on the obverse of the iPod--the rest is perfect).
