i guess my latest toy would be the suit i just dropped a few hundred on.

unfortunatly, it's not one of those toys you can get all excited about and use whenever you please. (at 17 anyway, I dont feel the need to wear a suit daily :()

nice! I love the CZ. I thought about buying one but i could never move away from love of the 1911 design.
those things shoot like lasers. Very accurate. Just fixit up with some hogue grips, and your set.
I saw someone on CGN selling a 0.22LR kadet kit for the cz75 for $390. Its good to have b/c then your main Semi-auto can double as a cheap 22 plinker or a 9mm.

Its pretty easy to switch back and forth btwn 22 & 9mm

I'd have to agree with that. The infinity's resemble the newer versions of the 1911.

I hate the CZ. Im only a fan for big guns like the Desert Eagle, And the Infinity firearms guns.

Actual powder burner shooters dont like glock for a variety of reasons

-Double action pull =inconsistency=less accuracy (or harder to get used to then single action)
-lack of external safeties
-its shape is too simple and some ppl find it simply ugly.

Deagles
-comes in expensive 0.44mag or 50AE.
-its just a pissing contest of who has the bigger ammo... you wont get as much accuracy as other calibres. these hot magnum cals are popular for handgun hunting in the states (which isnt allowed up here in Canada) so the deagle is mainly for the cool factor
-the deagle has a gas blow back system similar to that of rifles. more maintence.

Not new by any means. But highly modifiable; and new mods coming out with it everyday. ITunes with 1000 song limit (basically unlimited), and some other nifties. Best bang for the buck, IMHO.

upgrade the gearbox and get a tracer, flash light, high cap mag and scope. Aligning the scope is a lot of fun and this gun makes a great sniping rifle after the gearbox upgrade. :)

Haha. Im planning to get it fitted with a reddot scope, maybe add a 150 or 170 PDI spring. I have a flashlight already. Hi-caps are alright. Quite expensive...

For the money of a S80, might as well put in a little bit more and get an entry level DSLR kit, haha... and then not buy the w810 and use the money to buy a flash instead :twisted:.

Then again, I swore off spending money on phones long ago.

Yeah it comes with a pair of them (TN-A1 Tungsten Balancing and FL-G1 Fluorescent Balancing), plus the diffusion dome, the clip-on stand, and the +1 AA battery pack.

Looks like my new toy has arrived. I got an Audiovox SMT5600 with a Fido unlimited data plan. I now have the ability to use push email (like on Blackberries) without having to buy a RIM device. I use it with my work e-mail to get important e-mail messages while on the go. I also have the ability to use MSN Messenger on the go and I've setup an application that allows me to upload pictures to the internet directly from the camera on the phone. I installed Opera mini which allows me to view all webpages including RFD. I've setup links for Gmail, Hotmail and half a dozen other sites. This is the first and coolest smartphone I've ever used. I have unlimited mobile freedom now and since I've got a grandfathered data plan, I'm paying about half what others pay at least!

Well my latest toy hasn't arrived yet, but it's a JVC GR-DF450u MiniDV camcorder.

Not only is it feature packed and fantastic in low light conditions, I sniped a great deal. $203us and $30us shipping. That's about 1/3 off the next cheapest one sold on eBay.

I was thinking about buying a Rebel XT but I just thought it would be too overkill for me. I mean a DSLR isn't exactly a camera you would bring with you everywhere. I think the S80 is a good compromise between small form factor and good picture quality. I also am not to fond of the fact the DSLRs don't have a live LCD (except for one model from Olympus I think).

I have a 20D with some big L glass for when I want to take nice pics, and a Sony S90 for when I don't want to haul the DSLR around.

As for the live LCD, I prefer the real viewfinder of an SLR.

The S80 will be a good take everywhere camera with good image quality, if you don't need the flexibility of using different lenses. That's my advice...if you just want the Rebel with the kit lens, it's not worth it if you wont be buying lenses, and you're better off with the S80

I picked mine up for $150us including shipping from a guy on audioholics forums. They are pretty hard to find, but if you keep checking on ebay then one will come up...average price seems to be around $150-200 for a used one. If you REALLY need one fast, they're $260 new.

They're really nice though...can use virtually any IR codes, rack mountable, will convert/output the digital audio signal on both optical/coax, etc.

If you don't need the audio switching also, you can get just a good quality component switcher for about $100.

And there are switchers from best buy for example that SEEM to be just as good if not better for cheaper (such as the joytech 240c), but they really don't work well at all for anything higher than 480i, so just pay the extra to get a good quality one.

There is the possibility that it may be "downscaled" at the studios' discression, but as of right now no studios said they will be using it. When they DO start using it though, I'm SURE there will be cracks for it...just like dvd region hacks, etc.

I think you're right. I'll return it tomorrow and buy an HDMI switcher with 5 inputs instead. Then I'll be set, right!?

Oh wait...my TV doesn't have HDMI inputs...NOW I know why I bought this.

Mine would hit it straight in the middle of the hole everytime and very frequently. It would hit it so much that it would need daily cleanings b/c it would get soooo dirty from all the stuff that comes out the front tip
