I'm looking for an Asian Newspaper/News Source in English that has the calibre and respect like NY Times, Wall Street Journal, and etc.

I'm mainly looking for Chinese, Hong Kong, South Korea, and Japanese News. Those are the countries that I have a keen interest on.

playing the market are we? my experience in prediction market direction by following the news was very...bad. big players play the market, you can only pick the crumbs they leave you.

why not read the asian versions of cnn/bbc/yahoo?

i know the chinese newspapers here are HIGHLY unreliable lol, sing dao, shi jie, ming bao... they're all geared more to the entertainment value and not the real stuff. while there are others of pure propaganda like epoch times and those free ones from chinese resturants hhah

Oh I do. I'm a news fanatic, but I rather read a newspaper whether it's the print edition or online edition.

Seriously no Asian Newspaper with the calibre or NY Times and Wall Street Journal (besides the Asian edition)?

BBC World is fairly good but not as detailed as a local newspaper. Maybe you should think about learning chinese/japanese/korean?

I'm currently learning Chinese, but I'm not at the point in which I can read a newspaper.

Fine, what are some NY Times calibre Chinese newspaper?
