Weird that the 'Important Dates' Calendar on my school's website lists Easter on 15th (http://www.centennialcollege.ca/publications/pdf/important_dates.pdf) when the national holiday is on 17th (http://www.pch.gc.ca/progs/cpsc-ccsp/jfa-ha/index_e.cfm). Whats going on?

My nieces have the day off school Monday. Toronto public school.

Thats the question I am asking.
Is Easter optional meaning can it be taken on Sunday? Then why is April 17 listed a National Holiday. :confused:

My neices have the day off school Monday. Toronto public school.
my high school in york region (GTA) also has the day off....so do most schools in ontario.

Colleges and Universities are usually open on the monday, but closed on good friday.
