I went to one tonight, it was pretty fun.

Has anyone else gone to a murder mystery before?

And, does anyone know where to download some free games?

I had mine at my home. Bought the kit at Walmart (game section) adn all the instructions are in it. Really easy to do.
Some smaller towns have them too. I live in Orangeville and last I saw there was one on the local railway. I think it was $100 a ticket and you got a dinner adn a 3 hour train ride while you played the murder mystery.
Check out small towns close to you or maybe even in hte cities.

A kit includes: invitations, clues and a booklet for each player.
Send out the invitations telling your friends who their charachter is. The invitation will tell them the premise of the story(murder) and who they are protraying. It will also tell them how to dress
When all your guests arrive, give them their designated booklet. No one (including the host) knows what the booklets say. Inside the reader will find out if they are the murderer. They must keep this secret.
In the booklet, there are scene that need to be played out. Each character is told who to ask what questions to. The answers to the questions are also given . It is all in how you protray yourself. Using the others answers you try to detrmine who the murderer is.

Dont know if this is clear or not, but it is the general idea.

Oh yeah, the kit comes with a host guide to tell you how to incorporate food and such

You can sit aroung a table or around a campfire, wherever!
Lots of fun
We sat aroung a table with food and lots of drinks.
Everyone came dressed in character, really neat
