Can anyone recommend some good locations to get car audio. In particular a sub and amp. I have checked Future shop / Bestbuy and Canadian Tire. Just wondering if anyone knows of some places with decent prices, nothing too fancy. Preferably places with a website, or in the Toronto/Markham area.

I got my system (sub, amp, speakers, wires, installation, etc.) from Auto Sound Design on the northwest corner of Hwy. 7 and Unionville Main Street (just west of Kennedy). They have a decent selection and the sales staff is really knowledgeable. Unfortunately, I don't know if they have a website or not. Hope that helps.

they will hook you up....

im going to get a new amp installed by them this week at the thornhill location...

dont go to best buy or futureshop unless you want some low power system that costs way more than its worth....

I get all my car toys from Tabangi Electronics. I especially like the fact that the owner, Gaby, does all the installs and he his ver professional. Secondly, because I deal with Gaby, I'm also able to bargain with him.
Give Gaby a shout at 416-663-4334 and tell him that Sunny referred you!!!!

at the corner of dupont and duffering there is an audio place, anything i've bought over the counter i've bought from there.

everything else I bought here or on craigslist. If you're on a budget, check out used gear.

Again, sorry to steal the thread but I have a question related to this topic.

If I were to bring in an amplifier and a subwoofer how much would it cost to do the install ? (Looking for an average price, which I should expect to pay).

Thank you.
