Man, there's something about Toyota styling that'll never make as good looking as Nissan's.

The back looks good, but I feel the front is missing detail

Yeah, for the Camry right? It looks kinda bland at the front.

Well, it IS a Camry. All the looks are traded in for reliability and cheapness!

That's because people in other cars won't be looking at the back of the car, most of the time they'll be looking at the front of it through their rear view mirror.

Yup, and it sucks. There just seems to be more and more plastic everywhere!

These cars are also just plain ugly!

PathFinder, Armada both looks like beasts. Maxima and Altima look awesome. Sentra looks gay though.

Well for some reasons, I actually like the looks for both cars. They are better than the older generation.

Well before you guyz start bashing me, i havta clearify that I only have Nissans.

Not saying Nissans are better, but I'm just very used to the response and feel of the VQ series engines. Both VQ30DE and VQ35DE!

The Camry is slowly turning into the Matrix (rear and slightly front)

i think the camry rear looks more like a combination of BMW and accord

I just checked out both at the Vancouver Auto Show, and while the Camry interior is somewhat boring, the Yaris interior is honestly one of the cheapest things I've ever seen. The buttons on the CD console feel like something you'd get on a $29 aftermarket deck...I know the thing starts at only $14,000 or so, but c'mon....

The Yaris looks like a bug, somebody squash it. The Camry is nice, but what immediately struck me about its front fascia is the Mazda look.

Is Mazda's performance/reliability on par with Toyota?

Depends on what Nissan you're talking about. All the new Altima's, Maximas, and especially the sentras are just butt ugly.

Exactly, Nissan's for the most part all look terrible. Nissan's where Mazda was a few years ago with the awful Millenia / 626 / Protege line up......Mazda got their act together and now I see the 3's everywhere.

The camry does look much better, but there's something a little weird about cars getting "bigger" every generation through the use of more and more plastic. How much $$ does it cost to fix a simple rear ender on these things. The whole back end of the '06 civic looks like one giant fitted piece of plastic.

yeah my friends, gf and i were there on friday

my gf tried out the yaris and hated the interior too
she likes the new VW Golf much more but that cost a bit more too

i think toyota couldve done a better job with the interior too even at that price range
