anyone know the major areas of inspection? or have a list of what the mechanics look at? Or know of a mechanic willing to help me out?

Mechanics can lose their license for certifying cars that are not road worthy.
You're not doing yourself any favours trying to cheat the system.
If your car is in a dangerous condition,
aren't you better off to find out before something critical happens?

nono - I just want to know what they go over. I just want to know where I'm at with the car in terms of its road-worthyness
