Hi All,
I've had my 06 CR-V for over two months now. We're very happy with it with the exception of the radio. To me it seems very underpowered. Even at 50% volume it doesn't seem that loud.
That being said, I'm considering on replacing it with an aftermarket unit. Has anyone here in the group replaced their head unit in their CR-V?
If so, I do have a few additional questions:
1) Can the unit be swapped out easily without the addition of extra components? Our previous vehicle had the chimes, etc. through the stereo. Replacing it also meant another $100.00 bypass module to replace the chimes.
2) I'm guessing the opening for the stereo is Double-DIN?
3) Any recommendations on A/M units w/integrated screens? I'd also like the unit for NAVI as well.
4) Most important - where's the best place to buy at the best price?
