Another bump. Lowest I can find is $99 locally. Someone has to have upgraded to the 250gb from future shop and has an extra drive to get rid of!

One last check, somebody help me out or I will mothballing the other 3 drives. I noted that ebay prices for 120s are noticeably higher than 160 to 200 drives. Is this because these are sought after for xbox and ps2s?

Why don't you just get a similar maxtor 160gig drive and use that? When you rebuild the array it will ignore the extra 40 gig but it will save you from having to buy all new drives.

Raid card currently under use seems to lag with a different model drive. I have a maxtor 6Y120L0 and WD 1200BBRTL and both work, but there is lag now when I start dealing with directories over 100GB of content.
Right now I'm weighing the option of going to 4x200 sata for $69 each along with a sata raid card...
