I think he said that because you posted pictures of them obviously being used.
Where are you located?

you've gone too far now. So you leave me no choice. I guess thats what happens when you show up to buy something from me after I've spent money to travel half an hour and you tell me you dont have the amount of money we agreed on and leave me in a position where I basically have to take what you have since I've already invested the time and money to get to the meeting place.
You guys wanna know why these aren't brand new? Because I SOLD THEM TO HIM. And in fact I bought them off another RFD user. That makes him the THIRD OWNER. Search these forums for those headphones and you will find two other threads. All are this specific pair of headphones. So if he tries to tell you these are BNIB and that he took them out to take pictures (as he's already told someone) you know what you can say to him.

I don't watch TV anymore, RFD is enough drama for me!
Free bump, sweet price if they are indeed new (I'm not leaning either way).

wow you dirty son of a *****, i didnt think you would go so far as to deny that these are the ones I sold you.
For anyone that buys these, you will know they are the ones I sold him because the 1/4" adapter doesnt screw onto the plug like ALL OF THE adapters that the Sony SA1ks come with. And you know why? BECAUSE THE 1/4" ADAPTER I SOLD YOU ISNT THE ONE THAT CAME WITH THESE HEADPHONES. SO I GUESS THESE ARE UNIQUE AND ARE THE ONLY ONES IN THE WORLD, *****.
For anyone who wonders
here was my thread http://www.redflagdeals.com/forums/showthread.php?t=262024&highlight=sony+hifi
and I have the PMs and MSN chat history to prove we dealt.
Mother ****er.
EDIT - I like how you removed the link to the pictures you took.

lol well, that tells it all, cuz the plug i have DOES screw in? and what do msn chat logs/pms do? i can edit/photoshop any "copy and pasted" log or any screenshots, so what justice does it do?

watch out for what? the fact that im selling for $190 under the retail price? is that too little of a discount? if so, i guess rfd DO have to watch out for me, i charge a little too much, watch out $190 off the retail price is too high to ask for!

So now you're denying mokpie sold you these headphones? Especially when he knows specific details of the phones that were proven by your pictures (that you removed).
Who cares if you have a good selling record, the fact of the matter is, that you're screwing whoever's gonna buy THIS.
Also "selling something that doesnt work 100%", so you're saying mokpie sold you broken headphones without stating it? Which in turn, you are selling for a higher cost?
Your arguements don't justify themselves.

notice the "even so...if what u said WAS true" part? reading comprehension, anyone?
this is getting rhetorical, a sale is a sale, if u dont like it on rfd, go elsewhere

I don't like SCAMMERS on red flag, and I'm pretty sure the community doesn't either.
If redflag will allow crap like this to happen, then consider me gone.

seriously though, scam? ok LETS JUST SAY u really DID sell me the headphones, r u implying that i cant sell another identical pair that i have? i mean, what are u trying to prove or what kind of message are u trying to send across? what good does it do to u? EVEN SO, lets SAY i DID buy the headphone off u...its illegal on rfd forums that im selling it back out for a higher price? so lets say, user A buys a RAZR off user B for a crazy low price (ex.$80)...its illegal now for user A to resell the RAZR on rfd for a higher NORMAL price (ex.$160)?

oh, so selling records dont justify anything now? then what does? having a buddy on the forums backing u up when flame others? and if it doesnt, why do u have the heatware link in ur signature??? hmmm...whos not justifying themselves now?

What benefit does it do to the user that is getting scammed? A great deal.

What the heck are you arguing bout here?
What I am saying is, you can have a 100-0 record. If you decide to scam your 101th sale, does that mean you're still a good seller cause ur 100-1?
No.

Alright, I'm going to lock this.
You guys have made your point about the possibility that this set of phones isn't new in box, but this is getting out of hand.
Advertising something NIB when it isn't (not saying you are or aren't) is not a good practice, and someone pointing that out isn't really a threadcrap. There was enough doubt that their posts were valid and could have been addressed simply.
satisfcuktion you can recreate this thread, but please if you don't like a post report it and wait for a response, responding and escalating the argument doesn't help anything.
