I'm helping to file the taxes for my grandmother but she did not receive her T4A (Old Age Security) statement. I've checked the HRDSC site and the white pages looking for the right number to call about this, but frankly I'm quite lost. Can anyone point me in the right direction? TIA.

here is their new web site now as they are called service canada(should be one stop shopping). you can get here registered and get your own copy or go to the nearest old employment office and they can get you one.
has she been in canada all her working life? if so the amount would be $5706.63

Alternatively either ask your grandmother how much she receives or check her bank account and voila problem solved as no tax is deducted!!!!!

the simplest way is for you to go with her to the local CCRA office and ask them to print out a T4a. Simply line up , and they print it out on the spot.
