Didn't notice this before but thought it was a pretty good deal.

Was just checking some thing out at BB and noticed that on their checkout page there was a promotion of 50$ off 500$. Looks like it's automatic so there might be a chance of using the extra 20$ off 250$ coupon from visa. Happy shopping.

Funny thing they didn't exclude ALL consoles cos they are usually sold at a very small profit margin.

I'm not sure if this deserves it's own thread (or whether or not I should post it in one of the existing Canon Powershot S2 threads) but here it is anyway.
Bestbuy.ca has the Powershot S2 on sale for $530 on their site and you also get a 'free' (after mail in rebate) printer. With this $50 off $500 online offer that brings it down to $480 with a 'free' printer.

That's not bad, the cheapest You can get the S2 for was 422$ posted in another thread, but it involved price matching Dell.ca against Staples. This is much easier, plus you can probably use the Visa coupon to get another 20$ off.

The free printer is not bad either.

Combine console purchase with other cheap deals then you will eventually save that $50 on your console, but then I guess they assume most people won't do that and just purchase other non-deal items along with the console, minimizing their savings eventually and increasing profits for FS. That's why usually FS excludes a whole category of items when they have sales over smaller value of coupons.

it's FS, i'd care less what they do as long as we consumers get the deal we want :)
