Selling a pair of Etymotic ER6i in-ear earbuds.

You can find more information on them at their website: http://www.etymotic.com/ephp/er6i.aspx

Reviews have them slated as very balanced IEMs, often comparable to the Shure E3's. These definately beat out the muddy Shure E2's. Sony IEM's just don't compare to these at all.

I'm selling because they don't fit into my ear right, i guess my ears are not ready for the sudden IEM upgrade.

Selling these for $70, pick up Downtown Toronto, or Shipping.
I'm also willing to trade these for other IEMs, will add/deduct cash accordingly for Westone UM1's, UE Super.fi 5's, Shure E4's, or Creative EP-630's.

Note, there's a little cosmetic issue, where the paint on one of the buds rubbed off a bit. Didn't really bother me much.

Contact by PM.

Please, no lowballers.

Nice phones. I have some E3s and love'em. This is a good step into the IEM world.

BUmp for cool earbuds.

I agree that the Sony EX51's and EX71's are pretty crappy. I have them for my phone, and I only use them out of convenience (mine has a built in mic for cellphone use), but I much prefer my ...

"muddy" :D Shure E2C's but I find them super clear and responsive. Also the Shure's are super durable as they have extra thick cords.

I've heard alot about the ER6's and they seem like a good pair of IEM. I've tried the tips/flanges before and have had trouble fitting them in, just like you. What I have found to have helped was if you wet the tips of the flanges before you insert them into your ear. This helps with the seal and noise isolation.

Yup. ;) Try that out ... but it STILL didn't work for me. So I stuck with the foamies which sound/feel the best. Too bad they last the shortest period of time.
