Need advice on Line 457 Employee and partner GST/HST rebate
Not sure if I meet one of the two conditions for this rebate. My employer is a muncipal government who pays GST, but gets the GST (some or all I think) back. Am I still eligible for the above rebate since I use my vehicle for work? If I am eligible, UFile says that I will get a GST rebate on my employment expenses and dues.
One of the two conditions of this rebate is "your employer is a GST/HST registrant, other than a listed financial institution". The other condition relates to a partnership which I am not eligible.
