I just got my Jan.1-Mar.1 RRSP slips yesterday from CIBC. The other half is still waiting for hers from RBC. We must be at the bottom of the list.

EFile

if you're efiling, whether or not you have a receipt is irrelevant. If you know you contributed $1000 for RRSP in first 60 days, just claim it. Receipts are relevant if/when CRA decides it wants to see support for certain numbers.

got my refund this wk after efiling 2 wks ago :D

My February RRSP receipt arrived this week.

However I will still be getting investment receipts all the way through april. I don't even bother starting my return til the first week of april.

That's one of life's great mysteries! Computers have greatly help CRA identify scoflaws, for sure certain patterns will send up red flags for further investigation. If you're a small business owner, and particularly if you claim home office expenses, you have a much greater chance of a probing than the guy with straight T4 and normal deductions.

But hey, don't sweat it if you're all legit, right?
