Hi, one fairly quick and simple question for you guys.
I have been with MBNA for a while for credit card and have built quite good credit because I always keep my balance neutral each month. The thing is that this credit does not offer any dividend and I decide to switch to CIBC dividend. I am just wondering whether I lose my credit if I cancel this first card?
Thanks

If you do not owe anything then no its not a big deal.

If you have any concerns, get the new card,
but don't canel the old one for a while.
Nothing says you have to use it.

BTW: You are doing the Bank's a favour by getting a CC.
It is not the other way around.

Why do you have to "switch"? Why do you just get one more credit card?

Another question: Does losing a credit card and getting a replacement affect credit score?
