Anyone know if OHIP covers the cost of buying a walking cane (obivously for medical purposes)?

No, crutches, canes, etc are not covered at all...

Not covered by OHIP, but 75% of cost may be covered by Assistive Devices Program (http://www.health.gov.on.ca/english/public/program/adp/adp_mn.html) .
