it loses the effect... its like explaining a funny joke...... its funnier if you get it than someone explaining it to you

mj isnt popular anymore? maybe hes not as big as he was when he was in his prime (ie commercials, tv time etc), but any NBA fan will know that he is one of the best players EVER.

If you showed people a picture of just his face without that white thing on his head a lot of people probably wouldn't recognize him. If you showed people a picture of him wearing the robe and everything then of course people would know it's the Pope. My 2 cents
