It is disturbing that no one questioned, but to tell you the truth the situation didnt seem to convincing. Heck it sounded more like a little brat giving her Step dad the old "Your not my dad" line which i have heard in public a few times (Your not my dad, your not my mom etc etc)

These days, people don't give a sh** about other people. Society is going to hell. Just go to wal mart and you'll see what I mean...

It could be edited. Maybe some did help and they didn't show it. Just like how u never see any smart people in jay leno's 'jay walking' segments. Plus the girl's acting wasn't convincing enough. I have thrown worse tantrums as a kid in public than she did...

News is just another tv program and they do need ratings and stories.

Its a bit of a crazy social experiment... surprised they got the cops to sign off on it.

This isnt surprising, anyone hear about the women being raped and stabbed to death?

People in their apartment buildings figured someone else had called the police. And when you think someone else will do something, why should you?

This experiment is lame.

I wouldn't have gotten involved either. In the United States they'll sue you for anything.

Exactly, it could be the whole step father thing. Still, I got chills watching it.

Anyone else noticed that the only two guys that took action were "gangstas" who could be stereotyped as bad people by any of those other people who did nothing.

All white people ignored. The two black guys and the hispanic are the good guys.

 that was sick

they must've been in fights before. the actors says they spread out(and that could've been coincidence) but look at the 2 guys before they rushed, they crept up slowly then quickly split directions. they also gave each other some verbal instructions

the kidnapper (if real) would've had no chance

But, I want to see more video of "he's not my daddy"/"you're not my daddy", I didn't see the child clearly say that enough except in that situation. So was it really fair to anyone except the 2 guys that rushed? They had a better scenario, more likely a kidnapping and not a misbehaving child.

That teaches all you RFD fathers, to tell your kids to say those exact words LOUD & CLEAR. "Gangstas" will help you out.

Very sad that it would take hours of attempts for someone to stop and question, thank heaven it was staged

the thing is the coasts of U.S and ALL of Canada are liberal majorities(liberal idealogy, not politics), where pacifism and anti-violence is strongest

To really foil an abduction attempt you have to get violent and physical. Calling 911 in a situation like that is a joke really and most people understand that and so just walk on.

I wouldn't be surprised if the odds were like 99% of ppl wouldn't do anything even if the girl was screaming on a megaphone clearly that it was an abduction.

There's also a severe increase in unhealthy lifestyles and the public is overweight in general. This contributes to people who couldn't even jog after the guy doing the abduction if they wanted to.

I think self defense training should be pushed on the public.

At least Zanta would attack, so your kids are safe on his patrolled streets.

I;ll just assume, man that kids lost his parents, so sad, hope the kidnapper takes better kare of him...

it was a trick to see if people will help and see how people are shy and dont care about other people
