Fifth Gear vs Top Gear?

Just wondering which is a better show?

Top Gear incorporates a talk show feel to it
Fifth Gear is more of a real show, they have shorter segments, but it still is quite informative and entertaining.
I haven't been able to see any (5G) episodes on Speed, and if they are it's always 1/2h, and I'm certain the show is 1h long.

Clarkson is entertaining to watch and listen to

Tiff is too hyper and sometimes I find he is on drugs

I like both shows, but given the choice I'd rather watch Top Gear ..

I prefer Top Gear, especially since it's got ........ The Stig. :)

My vote goes for Top Gear. They always find out fun stuff to do: racing dune buggies in mud, a race between a car and public transit, buy a super car for 10k$ and then compete in different events, ...

Just download the olympics specials. Well worth it. You'll want to download the other seasons after. :)

Jeremy Clarkson is 75%of the show, and both james and rich balances things

Fifth Gear isn't funny, whereas Top Gear is. Fifth Gear isn't innovative whereas Top Gear is...etc...

Stig thing? I have to admit I've only seen the show maybe a half dozen times.

Top Gear beats 5TH gear hands down! Top Gear has such amazing shots of nice car in trully beautiful places, however I cant stand that jackass clarkson and all the crap that comes out of his mouth, they are just biased bunch of losers who like to put american cars down, Tiff made way more sense than Clarkson when he used to be on Top Gear and still does on 5TH gear episodes plus he's an x pro race driver, and he sometimes does some crazy stuff, when all you see Clarkson can do is drive car straight on a highway or spin out on the track losing traction in attempt to show some fast driving. 5TH Gear is ok, still worth watching but I find the video shots of it rather boring and average quality, when Top Gear does really nice job on editing. My favorite episodes were with Zonda F, McLaren SLR and Veyron.

both shows are fun to watch. You learn a lil more on fifth gear then top gear, but the latter is more entertaining.

Top gear also has better video producers, especially on their comparisons. Check out the episode with the Aston Martin Vanquish and the Ferrari 575M. That's one of my favorite episodes

Top Gear is much better ... much more entertaining and lots of variety and they come up with good/novel ideas of testing cars

I started watching Top Gear first before I got to Fifth Gear. I'm not a car buff by any stretch so I enjoy the entertainment value from Top Gear much more so than the info overload (to me anyway) from Fifth Gear.

And I like the scrubby image that Clarkson has too. And of course, The Stig. "Some said..." :cheesygri

Yeah that's what I believe too...

also, I much prefer Fifth Gear's use of the Anglesea circuit, while Top Gear's use of the Stig is preferrable to Fifth Gear's use of Tiff/Vicky/Jason/Tom for testing.
