FS: 1992 Honda Civic DX 4 door

Guy at work is selling a 1992 Honda Civic DX, he bought a new van.

New brakes/rotors
New plugs/wires/cap/rotor
He said he did a few other things
It runs well, and is certified.

I'll get more information/pics if ppl are interested
290,000kms
I believe he is asking around $1200, im sure that's negotiable.

It is amazing how much used Hondas go for. It really doesn't make much sense to buy a used one, although this does sound like a pretty good deal as far as Civics go.

That's why it's an asking price and he mentioned negotiable. Doesn't necessarily mean his friend expects $1200 for the civic.

That's what our neighbour does. He'd buy a beater for a few hundred dollars, insure it cheaply, then drive it to the ground and go find another one.

If you're lucky you might just be able to get it to or close to 400,000k depending on how the previous owner took care of the vehicle. My guess is the exterior will rust out before the engine dies.

Fella had a '86 Prelude with only 200,000k and the body rusted to shites!!

The DX is only a 2 door model or 3 door hatch.

The 4 door models are either the LX, EX or EX-V.
