Problem with a power window.. what can it be?

I have power windows on my car and my front passenger window sounds like a dying animal when i move it up/down. Also, yesterday when i rolled it down and then tried to roll it back up, it slowed down to a crawl and stopped about 3/4 the way up. It's not stuck down tho, when i rolled it back down and up again it went all the way up.

What might the problem be with it? Any idea how much it might cost to fix this?

Sounds like the motor in your power window is dying... or there's a missalignment somewhere causing it not to go up and down like it should
