How's the Sony Ericsson K750i's (or Asian phone w/ only 1900Mhz) reception in GTA?

I recently got a new SE K750i and was just wondering how the reception is like in Toronto/GTA? Right now I am in school in Kingston and its decent. Not as good as my other phones with 850MHz reception as sometimes the conversation sounds get cut off when I am in my room.

BTW, I am using Rogers. Please let me know other people's experiances using this phone or any other oversea's phone without 850MHz over here in Toronto.

Depends on where you go.

Back in the summer when a coworker and I had to carry crap outta this basement down in Parkdale, he would get no reception, well I held with 2-3 bars...

No idea...but I just want to say that I'm going to get the new K790 when it comes out :D

3.2MP + 850 MHz = awesome

it all depends on where u r. usuallay but not always, 850 means u get a bit better reception behind walls and indoors as well as better coverage in rural areas but not always. it also depends on the phone. some phones can hold onto only 1900 better than some phones that have 1900 and 850. i no my phone. an old nokia 6310i has incredible reception and it only has 1900.
