Bought one of those Dell 1100's on sale
has PCI slot and Intel Extreme 2 graphics

is it worth upgrading to a 128mb PCI Video Card?

most intensive thing ill be doing is watching Streaming Video on the net and some older games

Figure it'll cost be around $50-$70 for the card.

also for the same reasons will 512mb ram be enough or should I double it?

y not try the machine out first. Install the games u want to play. Check the resolution and FPS.
Streaming video isn't hard on graphic card so I wouldn't worry about that.

512MB should be enough for now unless you use programs that uses a lot of memory.

The Intel Extreme Graphics is rather underpowered, see for yourself :)
Unless your games are really old

it al depends on the games you are running but I am sure a x1300 or a 6200/6600 would be better since IGP VIDEO CARDS suck pretty bad unles you don't mind playin in 640 or 800 resolution with no effects on.

I would add more memory. Since your 128MB video card is integrated, you really only have 384MB if my math is correct. :cheesygri
