on launch day maybe, obviously you haven't checked the price of it now.

edit: how is your price better than mine? yours has lifetime warranty like mine does, AND mine still can be stepped up!

Lets break this up.
Launch day for 7900GT was March 9, 2006. Cheapest 7900GT is 379.99 @ ncix
Today is March 12, 2006. Cheapest 7900GT is STILL 379.99 @ ncix (http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=17943)

My price is $70 cheaper then yours and is OBO. I've seen 7800GT here on RFD for $300 before, which is why my price is negotiable.

Finally, your card can only be stepped up by you. I guess you have not read the eVGA Step-up terms and conditions (http://evga.com/stepup/default.asp?switch=3), but it clearly says:

You must have purchased the card, and be the original owner of the card. Cards obtained as prizes, through EVGA recertification program, cards purchased used and cards originally issued as review units, etc. are not eligible.
and
Card must have been purchased with in the 90 days preceding your request for step up.

Yes, or you could give the receipt and work it out somehow. But, you're still limited to 90 days.

On that note, how long does the Step-up take? Do you ship the card to somewhere in Canada or is it in the states?

what you do, is you get into the site, and you submit what card you want to stepup to. you could stepup on day 89, but if there is a queue you have to enter into, you can still stepup afterwards. what you have to do, is then send in your card with the reciept of the card purchased so they know how much to charge your credit card and then they send you the card you requested.

Ok ppl 425$ for a brand new xfx taxes in so those trying to sell gts for 380+ are not offering any deal at all.
300 shipped and I will take it. :)

Oh and the step up program sounds all great as I allway buy evga but you pay the shipping and you get hit with duty and taxes on the way back.
so you are better off just selling it and buy the new card.

FWIW, I've got a BFG 7800GT OC with the copper Heatsink and LED fan for $300 plus shipping. Being as I'm in the next province over, shipping wouldn't be much.
