I bought this laptop really because of the lightweight but i kind of regretted in getting it afterwards cause I don't need to lug my textbooks around on campus anyways, and on top of that i am getting pretty pissed at how the usb's are located (left side) :S aside from that this laptop has treated me extremely well but i treated it not so well

so now, could anyone give me a price check?
Thanks in advance

PS. constructive posts only please :)

Keep in mind, you didn't buy it new from E-bay, you bought it used. I don't care what it was being advertised as or what packaging it came in, if you got it from E-bay, it was used.

Scratches & no ext. warranty, you won't get too much out of it. Keep it or sell it cheap to your family and friends. Don't forget, people can get good deals from Dell's all the time. Not to mention the new Intel new chip on the newer notebooks.

$700 is a bit on the generous side, especially if you don't have a DVD burner. You mentioned 24x CD/DVD combo drive so I'm assuming it has a DVD burner.

The new Duo-Core notebooks are going for around a grand, so that depresses the price you can get even more. With less than half a year of warranty as well your price is further reduced.

Next time you buy a laptop off Ebay go for one with 3 year warranty and Complete Care. That will greatly increase the resell value.

Unfortunately for you, laptop prices have dropped considerably in the last while. Nevertheless, like stated here many times, your laptop is worth exactly what you can sell it for. If you want to get maximum price for your laptop, I would not try to sell it on RFD. You might have more luck putting it in the local paper, for example.
