Quad-SLI (http://www.alienware.com/intro_pages/nvidia_quadsli.aspx)

Laptop with SLI (http://www.alienware.com/intro_pages/nvidia_nbsli.aspx?from=Wi%20Wong:slinotebooks)

Yeah, they are overpriced, and completely unnecessary, but DAMN.

Crazy people...

Most people don't even use more than 1 GPU.

The big question is how many games will take advantage of Quad-SLI. Very little to make it anything worth investing in.

if they got the budget for it and want to have the best of everything... i could see people buying it.

i mean if they're already running their system on a 24 lcd or one of the 30 lcd monitors, they're pretty much going to have to get quad sli if they want to run anything with decent frames at native settings.

Who really needs 500hp 300km/h car on the city street ? And people still buy them ... It's not the power, it's the bragging right ;)

But somehow my 15-year-old car is still going just as fast as their '300km/h-capable' at ~ the same speed on 401 to work :cheesygri :cheesygri

but that's limited by the law

quad SLI only limited by ur wallet

there's definitely uses for these crazy combinations.... like driving a 30" LCD with max AA/AF and all the goodies turned up.... though i think it's GREATLY cpu limited....
