Called Trendnet yesterday to see the status of my rebate. I bought the wireless USB key and hotspot finder a couple months ago through Dell. The deal was on here but couldnt find the thread.
Anyways they said they have none of my information. I kept a copy of my UPC, etc so they said I could just re-send those.
So if you did send anything in make a phone call and see if your in the database.
At least they will let you re-send even if the UPC is a photocopy

Has anyone received any rebates from them? I bought their 802.11g Wireless USB 2.0 Adapter with HotSpot Detector. I'm really good at filling rebates fully but they are saying I forgot to put down the serial number. I'm pretty sure I put everything down. Unfortunately, I did not make a copy of everything as I assume Dell and their products were pretty good at this.

They gave me an alternative US address to resend the information to. Good thing I kept a photocopy of my upc, etc.
Ill let everyone know when I receive it

Last autumn, I ran into something similar. Trendnet claimed they couldn't find my rebate info and I thought I had lost the $$$ but low and behold, I received a cheque like one month later.

i'm sick of companies trying to scam customers out of the rebates by either denying them without a valid reason or "supposidly" not receiving it. they are just hoping you didn't backup your rebates. almost all my rebates are like that now, so i try not to buy stuff with MIR

I had the same reason, they said I didn't write down the serial number. BS, the photocopy and backup I had showed it. I don't buy stuff with rebates with Trendnet. I think they randomly refuse a certain percentage and if you don't jump through their hoops, you won't get it. It took me 6 months to get mine after calling to see why I never received it.

They said that to me when I phoned wed. They said it was the wrong one. Then I told them I had a photocopy of my rebate form I sent it, they changed their tune. Said it would arrive withina month

Finally got mine. And only a week after the last phone call and I told them I had a copy of my original rebate form.
Lots of work and wait for $12. Now I can say Im at 100% receiving all my rebates.
Since I worked hard for it I think Ill by some Coronas with it and enjoy them on my deck

Something weird happened to me regarding Trendnet rebate.
I was wondering what was going on with my rebate, so I called the phone number on the rebate form. At that place, they told me they weren't handling the rebate and didn't have my info. However, Futureshop staff would tell me they were responsible. Anyway, I was pretty sure I would not receive it.
However, a few months later, I did receive a my rebate in the mail.
Definately not the best company for rebates. The router is working fine though.

Their rebate sucks!!!
I purchased their wireless router and USB adapter in January this year. However I haven't received the $45 rebate for the router and $15 rebate for the USB adapter.
Just called them and they told me my $45 rebate UPC is invalid...holly cow, I cut the bar code what I found on the box and sent to them, 6 months later they told me it is invalid!
Would anyone help me out here? They told me the last 3 digits of the bar code ($45 rebate) is 602. Anyone has this bar code copy? Thanks!!!

I won't be buying from Trendnet again, ever, if there is a rebate involved.
It's only $12 or so, but there is a principle.
I bought two USB hotspot finders/wireless adapters b/g/ etc. I used different addresses for the rebates, but I can accept if I were to only receive one rebate.
When I called about it, months later, they said I submitted a non-original UPC. I had all the documents photocopied in front of me. They said, re-submit those. I said, go check what I submitted, all I have now is a photocopy. They said, it's all in a different warehouse.
So, to correct what they called a non-original UPC, I had to copy my photocopy and send it in. Eventually, one of the rebates was honoured. But this process was idiotic.
Obviously there are companies that exist in rebate fulfillment that exist only to turn down rebates for stupid reasons. They must buy a certain amount from Trendnet, for example, and then work hard at refusing everything they can.
Trendnet trendnet trendnet.
Trendnet sucks. Trendnet will not get my business again. Anything else we can do to make sure google and other search engines find this thread?
