LF: cheap new laptop with wifi and warranty

My sister is travelling to Europe for a year and needs a new laptop for the trip.

Just needs something basic, but it should have wifi built in and shouldn't be too big & bulky.

I'm waiting for the next good dell deal, but looking for other ideas too.

Mines is two months old. $1200 with the remainder of the warranty (10 months) or $1400 for three years warranty. It's a 14" so it's not bulky at all.

I'm looking for something *new* (retail purchase), and *cheap* (a relative term, yes - but something under $700. Actually, under $600 if possible).
