Uhm... might as well just ask, why is it 1:2 trade? What is the stepping is the Opteron that's it's so good? "unused Opteron" does that mean brand new in box?

Sorry guys, I forgot to bump my thread or check it. I didn't even look at the stepping yet, as the CPU is at my apartment, and I'm more or less living full-time with my gf right now. I'll check the stepping soon and get back to you on it.
Never used means just that. I started making a system with the CPU; I opened it, installed on motherboard, but got no further. No thermal paste, no heatsink applied, never powered on etc.

I see peopel selling Venice 3000s for $150 shipped and Opteron 146s for over $300. Simple division gives the ratio. Now that I know how important stepping is, I'll give that info when I get to it. Besides, I did say cash would be added if necessary.
