I went through the last few pages and did a search but nothing turned up so if this has been suggested before, just lock the thread and point me in the right direction :)

Anywhoo, I'd like to see a digg.com type of interface on the front page. People submit their deals (as well as mods) and we get vote for or against them. Thus it helps rate the deal and keep it on the front page if it truly is a great deal.

I was going to make a similar suggestion but with a twist, I really like the new Digg comment system. It'd be great view the deal comments by +5 diggs only. Far too many people argue and whine. I want to see the deals and useful comments ONLY :)

Man if RFD could dump forums for something like that it'd be real swell.

There is the rating system, but not a lot of people use that. Rating system is better than nothing :|

RFD should incorporate a digg-styled system.
diggs for positive contributions and have it tied to the current rating system.... (Does anyone actually use that? How do you use it?)

I like the "other sites" tipping system... you can even get prizes :-0

lots of lame articles/blog post gets dugg. However it may work here better since it will be for deals only.

The star rating is useless. It doesn't actually affect the placement of the thread, and most people just ignore it anyways.

The star rating is useless because most people don't use it.....but you can sort by rating if you want, just scroll down to the bottom and set the parameters.

Self-moderation through diggs should be something that mods would support.
I think it'll clean up a lot of the thread in here, and give the mods an easier time.
