I haven't personally been there but I do know people who have; they said it was awesome. It's done by the student chef's and the value and quality of food is supposedely excellent.

Thanks trini. Went twice last year and were very impressed. The setting is nothing like any fine-dining places, but the food quality is certainly right up there. For the price, it's good deal

Both times I went, I parked right across the street on the meters. Works out to be $3 or so. No biggie. I am not aware of any free-parking around.

Sounds like a deal to me. I was thinking those $10-$15 parking lot kind... so I thought it would be a hassle. Thanx.

These so called students most of which already work in the industry for places such as Auberge, 360, 4 seasons and the list goes on so don't be misguided by the word student.
ND fine dining decor is a subjective thing the average European walking in to Susur won't call it fine dining.
Yhey have since re-done the interior though.

Will this be effected by the strike/picketing? Will it be a pain to get in? I hear most of the teaches in the cooking school aren't a part of the union. Definitely interested in checking this out though...

thanks for the post
