On page 6 for the March 4 - 10 Pharma Plus ad is 10 Air Miles BONUS for every 1 of specified cosmetics purchased at $1 each. Items listed are N.Y.C. Eye or Lip Pencil, Nail Polish or Lipstick.

For users of the products, this may be a good deal for collecting Air Miles. In Ont, 10 Air Miles for $1.15 and nail polish thrown in.

For non-users of the products, not si good.

If you convert the airmiles to a Dominion gift certificate, 10 airmiles are worth about $1.42. Not a bad deal unless its a misprint.

WHAT?????
This is a pretty crazy deal.
Not as exciting as that guy that bought $3000 worth of food to get 4 million miles, but buy $860 worth of goods and you got a plane ticket to Asia.

I went to my local pharmaplus intending to purchase a whole whack of lipsticks and things, but they had a sign up saying that there was a misprint in the flyer and there is a limit of 3 per customer.

I bought my allotted 3 anyway and I plan to visit a few times more to buy my quota.

I just went to the Pharma Plus at Galleria Mall @ Dufferin and Dupont and they had no sign stating 3 per customer. I just came from there and bought 5 items from the NYC line, not a whole big selection there but I sure did get 50 airmiles

Yes, the airmiles show up on the reciept - I made sure I got them too.

And it sounds like I should go check out my other local pharmapluses then, to see if they have no limit.

The airmiles did not show, I had to ask the cashier to check the sign. She had to scan my airmiles card three times to add the airmiles as a gift certificate

Hey but I got 31 airmiles today! :)

I'm going to do a raid!
My closest pharma plus here at First Canadian Place had the sign up, but selection was limited. they didn't have the lip moisturizer for example. And if you read the sign, it says 3 of each, not 3 in total. I bought 3 lip pens and 3 nail polish. Got 60 air miles and it said so on the receipt. The cashiers also did not seem to care so I think the limit is not necessarily enforced.

Look on the air miles website. Most $50 gift cards cost 365 points. With this deal, you save 27% even if you chuck the makeup away.

They don't show up when I log into their website, though.
Is that normal?

The website says that it will take 60 days for points to be posted onto your account online, and I think 120 days for bonus points (which sucks because after 4 months it's harder to complain if you don't get the bonus points)

They give one air mile for every $10... isn't the "standard" 1 for every $20? That makes them pretty good... I guess trying to beat optimum points

Did you go to PharmaPlus or I.D.A.? I went to IDA last night, but only found that they have a different flyer than PharmaPlus >:(
I thought they are the same, or under the same operation....

You got lucky. I brought three of each to the counter but the cashier said it was 3 total.

The sign doesn't say three each, it just says limit of 3 lip liners/ eye liners, nail polish, lipstick. But it does not say "total 3" or "3 each" so it's unclear.

Oh well, I'll just go back tomorrow. twice. This stuff is crappy but I will just give to someone. it's perfect for little girls to use as play makeup.

You need to give some time for the airmiles to appear on your account online, they do not appear immediately, i belive the sales rep said it can take upto 30 days.

Ill be abusing these airmiles tonight :) $100 order of makeup on ebay!

it really depends on who's at the cash and if the manager gives a damn. the manager @ the commerce court location said 3 total max but i went to the atrium on bay location and they didn't really care how many you took (but i only got about 3 or 4 of each). then there was the dundas west & bloor location who pretty much let me take their entire stock (i left a few of each, just in case someone actually wanted to buy the stuff) which was over 100 items! the cashiers knew about the limit but they said they wanted to get rid of the inventory.

that should put me at the GOLD level for the first time :D

it's still on today so i would suggest you try to hit the "quiet" locations and see if they let you stock up.

yeah i drove around to 4 today,,,the displays are not really marked at $1 they still have the old prices of $1.99 for lipstick and i think $2.79 for eyeliner/pencil,,,,but when you got to the cash they scan up at $1 with the 10 airmiles,,,,the first location i went to was at dundas and dixie(small one) the lady at the cash actually helped me(i had a list of colors from my wife that she wanted and i think she though it was funny since i'm 6"7" and i bought 15 pieces of makeup) so while she was smiling she told me to stock up because i get 10 airmiles each,,,i acted all surprised and said"wow that's a great deal then",,,at cloverdale mall there was a big sign in two different places saying limit of three and the samething on eglington and islington(bigger locations) so i took three each,,,i found another smaller one that had tons of stock took ten more and i'm going back with my wife when she gets off at 7pm to buy at least 20 more,,,,best airmiles deal i've seen in a long time(at least in the gta not counting those ab safeway deals),,,thanks alot!!! :cheesygri

Great deal OP. For those in Ottawa, I went to Billings Bridge, Elmvale and Herongate. I bought a whole bunch at each location - they had the limit of 3 signs up but didn't seem to matter. So now my wife can pick from 65 kinds of makeup lol.

Thanks OP. All signs were taken down tonight, as sale is over @ midnight. Just took a bunch of stuff up to the counter and all were a dollar and 10 air miles each! Wish I had seen this earlier this week - would have scammed more junky lipstick!

Sorry for bumping this DEAD thread up, but I wanted to confirm.

I just checked the 180 extra Air Miles on the Airmiles.ca website.
I spent 18,00 to get them and my wife got cheap gifts to send back home, a win win situation :)
Should have bought WAY more.
Best deal ever for Air Miles, I think.
