I was walking on one of the streets in Brampton and saw Scion xB with ontario licence plates. Did the change import rules so now you can import Scion into Canada from US????

If you look on autotrader, you will actually see that some toyota dealers are selling them. But they are asking $25k for them tho, not worth it IMO.

Yep, I've seen several registered in Ontario, not sure if it's a hassle to do it, though.

It should be ok to import these, there are a ton of these running loose in Vancouver. They are so ugly it's starting to look nice. :)

there are at least 2 Toyota dealerships (one in Woodbridge) taking new order.
And DonMill UserCar (toyota dealership) and Richmond Hills Toyota have used one. But pricy!

how much does it cost to import these to Canada? I want one, but most dealers sell them used for like $20,000+ trying to see which is cheaper, they cost like $14,000USD base right?

Got my 2006 Scion xB on February 22 and love it.
Have had lots of comments (favorable) and questions whenever I stop or park somewhere. Friends in Germany commented that is like RITTER SPORT chocolate: square - practical - good (Ritter's slogan)

They don't have enough power for a big box on wheels but they have the PIMP appeal for those who want to do the Cribz treatment to them.

The Scion tC looks like a pretty decent contender for a cheap coupe.

The fact that it sucks is the very reason why some people like it.

It's like that ugly dog that people think is cute. Or the pug.

I think I recall hearing that the Scions are all built on the Echo/Yaris platform? Probably the same engine options as well. Great if you want some practicality as well as good fuel mileage.
