Another chinese restaurant..

went to a restaurant recently and would totally go back! it opened up a few weeks ago, called Judy's Cuisine. the place is located on midland, just a little south of passmore (in the oriental art plaza).

the roasted garlic sauce grilled oyster was SOOO good..saucy and none of that seafoody smell/taste. the spicy salt deep fried shrimp was oh so savory, plump shrimps and just the right seasoning! the food is overall cheap, for vege orders, about $6-8, meats range from 8-20, seafood $8-30..all depends what you get. no desserts unfortunately..

service is spectacular, very polite and everyone knows how to speak eng/man/cantonese. place is very clean...the place is quite small, so reservations are recommended. sorry, i dont have the phone number.

The one on Midland opened more than a couple of months ago. But year, a pretty good place.

Went there tonight with 4 other people, total bill comes to $74 for 4 dishes, soup and rice. IMO, it is not cheap compared with other places in the same area. And there are many good choices for decent Chinese restaurants at much better price in Scarborough.

We were not given any complementry soup, or desert with our $70-$80 meal. The restaurant does not accept credit or debit card. Cash only.

Ok, food was not bad, but I certainly had better in Scarborough at even better prices. The restaurant was clean, staff was attentive, but we went very early, like 5 PM on Monday.

There are many other Chinese restaurants that have better food for much cheaper. Also a lot of place do give you free soup and dessert.
